In plain language
Salesbooth provides software for businesses to create and operate AI-assisted sales experiences. This policy explains how Salesbooth handles personal information and how people can exercise their privacy rights.
1. Scope and our role
This policy applies to salesbooth.com, the Salesbooth dashboard and APIs, Salesbooth-powered widgets and AI agents, and websites hosted through Salesbooth.
A business using Salesbooth controls the customer and prospect information it places in its workspace. For that information, the business is generally responsible for telling individuals how it uses their information. Salesbooth handles the information to provide the service to that business and as otherwise described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Salesbooth and which features a business enables.
- Account and business information, such as names, work email addresses, phone numbers, organisation details, roles, login identifiers, and support communications.
- Workspace content, such as customer records, product and service information, pricing, deals, quotes, contracts, communications, agent instructions, uploaded files, website content, and approval settings.
- Customer interaction information submitted through a Salesbooth-powered form, widget, hosted website, booking flow, or sales conversation.
- Commercial and payment information, such as subscription details, invoices, transaction status, and connected payment-account identifiers. Full card details entered through Stripe are handled by Stripe rather than stored by Salesbooth.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, page and feature activity, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events, session data, and cookie or local-storage identifiers.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly when someone creates an account, configures a workspace, uploads content, contacts support, completes a form, or uses a Salesbooth-powered experience. We also collect information automatically from use of the service and from integrations a workspace administrator chooses to connect.
Businesses using Salesbooth may add information about their own customers, prospects, staff, products, and commercial activity. Those businesses must have the authority and any notices or consents required to provide that information to Salesbooth.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, personalise, and support the Salesbooth service.
- Authenticate users, maintain tenant separation, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and protect accounts and systems.
- Run the sales, website, communications, booking, analytics, payment, and AI features selected by a workspace administrator.
- Process subscriptions, maintain transaction records, and provide service notices and support.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose faults, improve product performance, and develop features using aggregated or de-identified information where appropriate.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. AI-assisted processing
Salesbooth uses AI services to generate or revise material such as sales responses, recommendations, summaries, quotes, website content, and workflow suggestions. Information submitted to an enabled AI feature may be sent to an AI service provider so that feature can respond.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Salesbooth provides controls for businesses to review important customer-facing content and govern actions involving pricing, contracts, payments, publishing, and other consequential workflows. The business operating the workspace decides how its agents are configured and remains responsible for reviewing and using their output.
6. When we disclose information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to:
- Cloud hosting, data storage, security, communications, support, analytics, and AI service providers working for Salesbooth.
- Payment providers such as Stripe when a business connects payment processing or a customer makes a payment.
- Services and integrations that a workspace administrator deliberately enables or instructs Salesbooth to use.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, and systems.
- A buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
7. International processing
Salesbooth and its service providers may process information in Australia, the United States, and other countries where those providers operate. The locations involved depend on the features and integrations a business selects. We use contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service and remain accountable where required by applicable privacy law.
8. Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, tenant-scoped data access, transport security, audit logging, and security monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, meet a workspace configuration or contractual commitment, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit records, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup cycles and lawful retention requirements.
9. Cookies and similar technology
Salesbooth uses cookies, session storage, and similar technology to keep users signed in, remember preferences, protect the service, understand feature usage, and support Salesbooth-powered experiences. Browser settings can control some of this technology, but blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the service from working.
10. Access, correction, deletion, and choices
Workspace users can access and update much of their account and business information from Salesbooth. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of other personal information, contact the business that collected the information through its Salesbooth experience or contact Salesbooth using the details below.
We may need to verify identity and authority before acting. Some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it, including security, transaction, audit, and dispute records.
11. Privacy questions and complaints
Send privacy questions, access or correction requests, and complaints to support@salesbooth.com. Please describe the information or interaction involved and provide a safe way to contact you. We will review the request, may ask for information needed to verify it, and will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response and Australian privacy law applies, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Other local privacy regulators may also be available depending on where you live.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Salesbooth, its providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and change the date shown at the top. If a change materially affects how existing account information is handled, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable.
